Services
The Even Start Family Literacy Program provides the following
services:
- Educational support for children and parents
- Personalized home or center visits with your family
- Access to community services
Adult Education - can assist parents with improving literacy skills, in obtaining their General Equivalency Diploma (GED), learning English or improving English language skills, and meeting other educational and workplace goals.
Early Childhood Education - is provided in an on-site laboratory classroom, through home or center visits, and in conjunction with programs such as Head Start.
Parenting Education - is supported through center and home-based activities to help parents become full partners in their child's education.
Interactive Literacy Activities - take place at the center and in the home to help families provide young children with enriched literacy experiences that support school success.
